Fire & Brilliance's Vintage Asscher & Octagon cut FAB moissanite is a classically faceted step-cut gemstone.
Although the asscher shape is a fancy cut designed during the early 1900s, it made F&B's Heirloom Collection due to its beauty on vintage and antique jewelry.
The distinguishable features of an asscher moissanite are the 58 step-cut facets appearing as symmetrical and transparent mirrors from one end to another, reflecting the stone's brilliance. F&B's version of asscher cuts is one a kind in the sense that our stones are slightly wider at the corners to noticeably showcase the octagonal features of the gem. We also facet the girdle adding an additional 8 girdle facets for more luster in appearance as well.
